Looking after your vapouriser

When filling a clearomiser, ensure not to overfill or spill any liquid into the centre tube (Fig 2)

Maintaining your e cig is essential to its performance and lifespan. Cleaning is an important part of the vaping experience and improper care can lead to leaks, breaks and poor flavour. These simple steps should be taken on a regular basis.

Unscrew the battery from the atomizer. Wipe the contact point on the battery with a piece of tissue or a cotton bud to remove excess liquid. Care should be taken not to put too much pressure on the inside of the battery.

If the mouthpiece can be removed, do so and blow through to clear excess fluid.

Unscrew what you can and gently rinse the parts of the atomizer under the tap. For atomisers that don’t have long wicks, unscrew the middle post from the base and clean it. When you have finished washing the atomizer dry it off with a piece of tissue or a kitchen towel. It is best to allow the wick to dry out naturally, pressing too hard on the wick can break the tubular strands it may contain.

Reassemble the atomizer and connected to a battery, do not over tighten and fill with your liquid. Allow the wick to soak up the liquid for a few minutes and enjoy your vaping.
